Racing History
In 1965, John Cordts drove a Corvette sponsored by Gorries Chevrolet of Toronto, competing in Canadian big-bore sports car events. He achieved remarkable success, winning nearly every race he entered against strong competition, including the Comstock Ford Racing Team with Mustangs and Cobras, and secured the Canadian Championship for big-bore sports cars. His performance earned him the title of Driver of the Year by the C.R.C.A
