Status: This car was ordered late March 1965 and was specifically designated as a road race car by its owner David Billes. Optioned with the big 396/425hp engine, rare 36 gallon gas tank, no radio, positraction, transistor ignition, power disc brakes, F40 heavy duty suspension and the very rare M22 Rock Crusher 4 speed transmission. This was the first car to have factory paperwork authenticating M22 tansmissions in 1965 Corvettes. The car was found by Curt Worden of Florida and restored by Curt. Currently owned by Kevin Suydam who lives in alaska with multi multi million dollar car collection in alaska Unique Characteristics: This was the last of three cars raced by David Billes as # 57. At the end of the 1965 season, 194375S118966 was a blk/blk L78 tanker, rush order-competition car March 22/65, as Dave planned to run it in sports car races, which he did quite successfully.
