Car history:
The car was ordered April 1,1967 from Heinrich Motors 214 Lake Avenue, Rochester ,New york . The car was built Monday May 22,1967 and completed at Noon. The car was delivered June 15,1967 to John Freedman of New york.I purchased the car September 15,1988 from Gordan Ashton of Somerville Ma.(Ashton fuel co.)The car was inspected and Certified by Dan Gail (Later to be President of the Corvette Museum Bowling Green ) The Body was completely stripped to the gel coat by Ron's Auto Restoration's ,Fitchburg , Ma. and a new gel coat applied. The interior was completely removed (Seats,door panals ,carpets, soft top) and replaced with "Al Knoch Interiors" Products. The Suspention was complely rebuilt with all new brakes ,Brake lines , complete new fuel line,springs (Front and rear),new trailing arms, all new bushings,shocks ,new tires and anything else that was rebuildable.In November of 2007 the original matching number engine transmition and rear end was removed and the engine block,heads and intake manafold were dropped in a cleaning tank and left the for 4 months. At this time the engine compartment was completly detailed .In March the engine had all new parts installed and was placed back to it's original Spec's. The car is now being shown at local shows and Cruising nights around Boston.The car still turns heads as I pull into shows and I always get compliments about how load and how healthy the motors sounds through the side pipes.
