Las Vegas 2008
Lot #485 - Fuel Injected 327/375hp engine. Red on red. 1 of only 771 built in
1965 with Fuel Injection. This was the last year for Fuel injection and the first
year for disc brakes on Corvettes. Also, only approximately 1,451 cars had radio
delete. This Corvette was body-on restored by a restoration shop in Omaha,
Nebraska, at the end of 2006. This Corvette has been in a private collection and
stored indoors and under cover since purchased. The restoration photos of the
over 400 hours spent on the restoration come with the vehicle on a CD. This
Corvette has a matching numbers drivetrain. The engine is a Flint small block
L84 with a casting date of January 14, 1965. The fuel unit is not the original one
that came with the car, but it is a rebuilt replacement unit #2733. The transmission
is a Muncie 4-speed with a casting date of February 1, 1965. The rear end is an
AO 3.70:1 ratio 65 posi-traction unit. The body is by Smith #1535 with a paint
code of UU which is Rally Red and a trim code of 407, which is red vinyl interior
that has been upgraded to a red leather interior. The paint and chrome were
redone during the restoration. The suspension and brakes were all rebuilt and a
new stainless steel parking brake system from Ikerds has been installed. A new
steel spare rim and a new lock for the spare tub are included. There are 4 knock-off
rims with hubs and spinners installed.

The following manuals are included: a vehicle assembly manual, a disc brake
manual, a Rochester Fuel Injection service manual and an owner's guide. Also
included is a custom-fit Covercraft Dustop car cover.
