Mecum Auto Auction, Dallas Texas, 2012 Lot # S86
This genuine triple Black 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was restored in 2006
by the renowned Nabers Brothers, who employed many NOS pieces and correct
lacquer paint for a level of authenticity that earned Bloomington Gold Certification
with an almost perfect score of 99.2 percent. A low-mileage, early S/N example
purchased new at Luby Chevrolet Miami, Florida, it is one of approximately 32 all-
Black convertibles equipped with the mighty L71 427/435 HP Tri Power V-8, here
mated to a close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission and 3.70 rear end. Per the
included original tank sticker, this outstanding big block mid-year convertible is
also equipped with side exhaust, F41 suspension, bolt-on aluminum wheels with
Red stripe tires.
