NOM 396ci engine (built to 425hp), 4 speed manual transmission. Features include knock-off style wheels, genuine leather seats, side exhaust, AM/FM radio, soft ray glass, goldline tires. Originally assembled on June 8, 1965, this 1965 Corvette 396 Convertible is in nice condition, featuring a recent BODY-OFF RESTORATION, and comes in the desirable Rally Red color. This car's paint is vg, with a brilliant shine. Convertible top is good-vg, and all exterior glass shows a correct date code with the exception of the windshield. Chrome bumpers are good-vg, and weather stripping is vg-exc. Knock-off style wheels are vg with good-vg spinners, and vintage Goodyear goldline bias-ply tires are in place. The interior of this 1965 Corvette 396 Convertible shows vg-exc gauges, good condition leather seats, GM seatbelts, steering wheel, and center console, and vg dash pods, glovebox door, door panels, and carpet. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. The NOM 396ci engine in this car shows correct casting number 3855962, and features a FRESH rebuild. Casting date corresponds to May 25, 1965, and the stamp pad is blank. Correct air cleaner and ignition shielding are in place, and the frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear- end are all in good operating condition.
