| Engine details: |
CE code engine replaced under warranty in 1968, with a 300 hp 327. |
| Other details: |
It is now a 4 speed car after the Powerglide was deemed unrepairable after what appeared to be many overhauls. The wheels are K&H knockoffs but I do have a full set of 63 hubcaps. I have the non-working wonderbar radio, heater fan motor, clock, and a few other 63 original parts. Side pipes are 65-66, but soon to be replaced by the N11 off road exhaust system. |

| Car history: |
| Origin of sale was Vancouver, WA. From there the records are not very clear except the engine was replaced in 1968 with a CE code engine. Apparently covered under factory warranty. It was registered in Bend OR under a new owner but no sales records have been located at this time of title or reg change. The vehicle was in Bend for quite a few years with a repaint in 1996. A new owner was registered in Rock Springs WY. between 2001~2004, but where the missing years and records from Bend OR to Rock Springs is still being researched. I purchased it from the Rock Springs owner in 2013. I have touched about every nut and bolt except for the frame to body hardware, I have also rebuilt the entire drivetrain, engine and reupholstered and carpeted the interior. The frame has been rebuilt with all new bushings, all flexible joints. Opportunity to change it from a Powerglide came when the automatic failed and was in such bad shape it was less expensive to reto it into a M-20, 4 speed trans. All the correct hardware was installed except for the trans was not a corvette M-20 however it was a period correct trans. It is now in North Carolina at its retirement home a few miles outside of Pinehurst NC. |
