| Car history: |
This 1967, L71 powered Corvette has been restored to concours condition. There is no documentation of how it appeared or was equipped when it left the factory. There is no history other than the NCRS Shipping Report that I obtained. Except for the rearend code, steering damper and the reproduction hood, all characteristics of a big block car are present. The engine has been restamped and the 4-speed transmission is not original. Since it was sold new in Miami Beach, FL., it is possible that it is truly a heater delete option car. However, if it was originally a black car is unknown since the trim tag is a reproduction. Supposedly, the car was restored by a shop in Texas and brought to Ohio by a previous owner. I bought the car because I liked the way it looked. Update: In July 2017 I sold the car to a gentleman from Missouri. |
