Posted 03/14/2016 Lot #1421 - This L36 427/390hp coupe also has an M21 4-speed, N36 Telescopic steering, AM/FM, power steering, 3:36 posi-traction, Marlboro Maroon with very rare Saddle Tan interior. When car was new in 1967, it had side exhaust installed at the dealership. It's only had two owners. The first owner was Author Lynch - listed on the Protect-O-Plate still attached to original owner's manual. The second owner was Benjamin Conley. They were friends and neighbors. Both cared for, carefully drove, appreciated and meticulously maintained this ultra-low mileage unrestored survivor Corvette. This car was always garage-kept and has been in a climate-controlled museum since 1994. The original Tank Sticker is still on the gas tank; clear pictures of it come with the following original documents: radio manual with frequency modulation hanging knob card, nice factory-original Window Sticker and owner's manual. This is a real survivor, unrestored all matching-numbers correct Corvette, with 27,697 actual miles in a very rare color combination of Marlboro Maroon and Saddle. It's an incredible find.
