Added to Registry 09/25/2015 1967 Chevrolet Corvette CONVERTIBLE. 327/300hp with 4 speed This is the real deal!! Purchased by the current owner in 2005 and restored years prior to that, the body is finished in Red (originally 980 Elkhart Blue) with Black Vinyl interior and a White top. The paint was showing signs of age by 2006 and the car was disassembled, stripped, blocked multiple times and resprayed again in base coat/clear coat Rally Red. This included all the jambs, edges and undersides. The body is straight, smooth and beautiful and needs no excuses. The original numbers matching motor was removed in 2013 for a thorough inspection by a top Corvette mechanic in the area. The heads were redone with new valves and seats. At that time a Corvette 350 hp cam was added along with new lifters, rods, rockers and springs. The valve covers were upgraded at this time but the original ones (still in good shape) are included with the car. The motor and all the outside parts were cleaned and fully painted and detailed before reassembly, New off road chambered exhaust was added at this time for a true muscle car rumble. Mobil 1 oil was run through the break in period and ever since. The temp runs a consistent 180 degrees, thanks to the new aluminum radiator and has been driven over 500 miles since the reassembly. All the receipts for care and maintenance through the years as well the engine and paint are included. The interior is just as beautiful and perfect as the exterior. All of the gauges and options work as designed, the transmission shifts smooth and straight. The seats, carpet, dash board, chrome and glass are all stunning. The doors shut smooth, and latch easily. All 4 Michelin red line tires are in great shape, as well as the true knock off wheels, and come with the hammer to remove them. The spare tire is tucked underneath in the carrier. All of the chrome is simply stunning, see the last picture. The convertible top still looks brand new. The car is plated, insured and stored in a temperature controlled garage when not in use. Since 2005 (and I am sure before) it has never seen a cloudy day let alone any rain. Also included are 2 sets of keys and a Corvette window saver pillow for when the convertible top is put down so as not to scratch the plastic window. The underside, engine compartment and cargo area are all just as nice as the rest of the car. Jon
