Posted 06/29/2017 Lot #1050.1 - This Resto-Mod has a mirror-like Rally Red paint, white and red Ultra Leather interior and side pipes and covers. Built upon a powder-coated chassis, this car has a chromed-out LS6, Z06 crate engine with a polished S&P pulley system, a Speartech engine harness with custom programmed computer and throttle by wire accelerator control. It also has a complete Vintage Air system, a Tremec 5-speed with a Lakewood scatter shield, a Hays clutch, hydraulic throw-out bearing system and a Keisler Corvette look-alike shifter. To enhance drivability, this Resto-Mod has Steeroids rack & pinion power steering, VBP adjustable rear trailing arms, composite monoleaf springs front and rear, and Gabriel shocks. It also has an aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans. The interior is white Ultra Leather, including sun visors, seat backs and trim pieces, and the center armrest was built up for aesthetics and comfort. A tilt column with later model Corvette steering wheel was added. Additionally, all factory gauges were removed and replaced with Auto Meter Phantom gauges. The clock was not replaced, but rather was refaced to match the Auto Meter gauges. The original stereo was replaced with FM look-alike unit with speakers mounted behind the seats, and high-intensity discharge headlamps were added for better visibility while driving at night. The brakes are SSBC powder-coated red calipers with slotted rotors, SSBC braided stainless brake lines and a chrome power brake booster and chrome master cylinder setup. This 'Vette rides on Intro 18 inch rims and high-performance tires. This vehicle was professionally built and has less than 3,500 miles on the build. Every nut and bolt was restored.
