| Car history: |
| Vehicle was ordered by the original owner and deliveried at the St. Louis plant along with ten other corvettes. All of the owners were residents of San Diego California and flew back to St. Louis to take delivery of there new cars. Chevrolet Motor Divison Had parked all ten vehicles in a simi circle in the back lot of the plant and took a picture of the new owners standing next to there cars. The original owner of my car is one of the original founding members of the San Diego Corvette Club. His Name and some information is currently listed on the clubs web site. The car was ordered with all of the performance options that were available in the day. As a side note the original owner had ordered a brand new 1957 fuelie which is still currently owned by his widow. I am the second owner of this vehicle and very excited about the opportuinty to return it to its glory. I am in the process of stripping the paint. The vehicle has 65415 miles on it currently. I will post some pictures. |
