Scottsdale 2010 Lot #1361 - This is a matching numbers Milano Maroon 1966 Corvette coupe that is equipped with the rare combination of the high performance L79 327cid/350hp engine and air conditioning. Other options include an original set of Kelsey Hayes knock-off wheels, an original teak steering wheel, telescopic steering column, tinted glass, power steering, AM/FM radio, 7.75 white wall tires, Muncie M20 4-speed and 3.36 posi-traction rear axle. During the restoration, lacquer paint was used to make the car as close to original as possible. In 2008 this car also was shown at the Forest Grove Concours d' Elegance and received a 2nd place award. There is a 3-ring binder full of documentation that includes owner history back to the 70's, Regional Top Flight award, Top Flight ribbon, judging sheets, letter documenting Roy Sinor inspection, previous owner NCRS judge certificate, NCRS P.V. judging sheets, Concours d' Elegance trophy, owner's manual, radio instructions, knock-off wheel card, spare keys with knock-outs and envelope and receipts. |
