Frame Off Restoration at D & M Corvette in Illinois around 1994-1995 according to Barrett Jackson. D & M Corvette does not have records dating back that far and no one there recalls restoring the car. Sold at Barrett Jackson Lot Number 421 in 2000 for $33,480.00 Sold again at Barrett Jackson Lot Number 526 in 2001 for $38,340.00 Barrett Jackson rated the car a #2 NOTES: Motor, Chassis, Transmission, Third Member?, Exterior Color, Interior Color/Fabric all documented as Original and Correct. HISTORY Joe Conte bought car from unknown person in North Jersey. Joe Conte sold car to Bill Robinson Jr. (Son of pro baseball player and coach Bill Robinson). Bill Robinson Jr. provided some information regarding work that he had done to the car including receipts. This information and receipts are in my possession. Bill Robinson Jr. sold car back to Joe Conte. I purchased the car in Dec. 2012 from Joe Conte. I took delivery of the car on Dec. 26, 2012. NCRS Regional Second Flight Award May 2007 with previous owner (Bill Robinson Jr.) in Edison, NJ. Bruce Crookham was Chief Judge. Team Leader RL Morrison. NCRS judging sheets from this event are in my possession. From May 2013 to October 2014 extensive restoration was completed at County Corvette under the supervision of Jim Stuempfle. All work during this body off frame process is fully documented both through receipts and photos. October 12, 2014 earned a Chapter Top Flight Award (96.4) at The Delaware Valley Chapter NCRS 34th Annual Run for the Ribbons at County Corvette.
