Car history:

I bought this car exactly 1 year ago while it was on display at the Mcacn Corvette Nationals.

The car the way you see it here is exactly the way it's been for the last 43 years!!!

This is an original 427 better and has the original 351 casting block. Unfortunately
when the owner had the engine rebuilt by Werner it was decked and lost its original stamping.

The engine was built and upgraded to 425 specs with 4 bolt mains, rods, cam,
valvetrain, etc. The owner wanted to copy a poplar hotrodding article at the time
and had a famous engine rebuilder do the engine. It runs like no other 390 horse
engine I've driven. Original 4 speed trans and rear.

The standard black interior is original as is the dash cluster which has never been restored.

The original color of the car was Marlboro Maroon but as you can see now it has
what has got to be one of best Drug Induced paint jobs I've ever seen applied to a
old vette. This paint job would cost over 30 grand today and I don't think it could
be reproduced today. Also the guy lived next door to a chrome shop so everything
you could take off was, and was chromed. Still has all its original parts chromed.

This is truly a one of a kind opportunity to own a true piece of West coast American history!

Still retains it Nevada plates that's been with it all its life. I have owner history and
all the receipts from when it was customized. I've had my fun with it but now it's
time to move on to something else.
