The second owner initiated a high quality frame-off cosmetic and mechanical restoration that still presents in exceptional condition. This is a rare Corvette that was delivered from the factory with the L78 396/425hp big block motor. 1965 was the first year a big block was offered in a Corvette. During the restoration, great lengths were taken to secure a correct date coded factory 396/425hp replacement block, which was professionally built to restore the car to factory correct. This vehicle only has 3,992 miles since restoration. Options include the M20 4-speed transmission, posi-traction rear axle, side mount exhaust system, cast aluminum knock-off wheels, white wall tires, genuine leather upholstery, teakwood steering wheel, Soft Ray tinted glass and AM/FM radio.
