| Car history: |
| Known history is vehicle was owned by Greg Brown of Magnolia, TX for some time until he sold the car in 2010. Either before or during Brown's ownership, the vehicle was painted black and had a black interior installed. In 2010, Curtis Baze of Odessa, TX purchased the car. In 2012, Mr. Baze returned the car to the original trim tag color of Laguna Blue with a Bright Blue interior, although Mr. Baze installed leather seats instead of the original vinyl. When the car was returned to 978 Laguna Blue in 2012, the painter did not use the correct paint code and Mr. Baze had the car repainted in the correct 978 Laguna Blue in early 2025. Mr. Baze sold the vehicle in August of 2025 to someone who turned out to be a flipper who immediately sold it to a dealer in Florida/Oklahoma. This dealer consigned the car to the Mecum Auction in Fort Worth, TX where it was purchased by the current owner from Mabank, TX on November 1, 2025. |
