| I purchased this car as a daily driver in 1974. In 1976 the car was stolen and I was fortunate enough to get it back. In 1980 I sold the car to my brother with the aggreement that if he decided to sell the car, he would offer it back to me first. He sold it back to me in 2004, at which time I proceded with a 2 year complete frame off restoration. With the original motor missing, I elected to install a GM 383/425 hp engine with a TPIS mini-ram fuel injection system. It has been dyno tuned for a net result of 452 hp and 456 ft lbs of torque. All of the other driveline components are original. The transmission is a M-20 close ratio. Suspension is F40. Rear end gear ratio is 370. The power assisted drum braking system was retained with all new replacement parts. It has factory side exhaust with knock off wheels. The original colors of black exterior with black leather interior were retained. |
