Lot #394 - This is a very rare, well optioned, matching numbers mid-year Corvette.
It was restored in the late 80's by Nabor Brothers Restoration in Houston, TX,
for an Air Force pilot who was the second owner. The new owner bought the car
in 1991 and has owned it up until now. This Sting Ray is equipped with the factory
optional 365hp 327 along with a M20 4-speed transmission and factory air
conditioning, all of which are still present. It is optioned with a posi-traction
rear end, leather seats, power brakes, Soft Ray tinted glass, whitewall tires and
AM/FM radio. The car was restored in its original color combination of Saddle
Tan over tan leather, which is a refreshing break from the hoards of other cars
that have ended up black, red or silver after leaving the restoration shop. It is
a great choice for the sophisticated collector who will appreciate the joys of a
high horsepower small block car that is numbers matching and very correct.
