Originally purchased in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Elkhart Blue with Teal interior, side pipes, blue convertible top with auxiliary hardtop. |

| Car history: |
| Has been wrecked in front and passenger rear quarter and repaired and repainted Lyndale Blue. Many signs of being run hard during its earlier years -- engine burned a fair amount of oil, large rear tires wore lips off inner rear fender, had big brakes installed on front but big brakes were not from factory, had big block hood with large after market Holley carburetor, and windshield has been replaced. Was missing the convertible top, seat belts and many smaller parts when I purchased in 1977. Purchased in Columbus Ohio from Jerry Looney who worked as a new car salesman at Hugh White Chevrolet in downtown Columbus. He purchased from another salesman at Hugh White Chevrolet, Robert O'Hara, who had purchased it from Steve's Auto Sales in Waldo, Ohio to flip for a profit. I drove the car as my every day driver from 1977 until 1982 and drove periodically after that until roughly 2002. Was in storage from 2002 through about 2017 when I started to slowly restore it. As of Jan 1, 2023 the frame, engine and body have been restored to factory original and it is in primer ready for paint. |
