Posted 06/08/2017 Lot #746 - This is the car we all go searching for and very seldom find. It is one of the most original and nicest driving early Corvettes I have seen in a very long time. The 327cid/365hp matching numbers motor is the original to the car. It has the solid lifter cam, the original Winters aluminum intake, original air cleaner and valve covers. It also has the original style Delco tar top battery. It runs excellent, even the choke works. The transmission is the matching numbers Muncie 4-speed with the original shifter. It shifts awesome and performs very well. This Corvette has its original color combo of Daytona Blue on dark blue interior. Very nice looking, the paint is a few years old and is in excellent driver quality condition. The bumpers and outside stainless are in excellent condition. Stock wheels with the original stainless hubcaps. Grille is in excellent condition. All door locks work. The body lines are excellent. Doors open and close great. Very nice body, no rust anywhere. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. The dash pad is original and in excellent condition, no cracks. Door panels, seat covers, carpet and sun visors are all original and in excellent condition. It has an AM/FM radio that works and sounds good. The wood wheel is also in excellent condition. All the dash gauges work, tachometer, glove box light and all dome lights. Heater works, horn works, headlights open and close great. Owner's manual is in the glove box. This is a very rare Corvette from the 327cid/365hp to the desirable Daytona Blue on dark blue interior. It drives like a dream. It has won many local car shows and gets rave reviews wherever it goes. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere.
