Car history:
First owner replaced engine appears to be a 1970 396 SS Chevelle w cast iron heads and manifold. 6 tail light mod done professionally by Dee Wescott. Second owner started a restoration; took dash apart. Stored 20 years or so. Third owner stored 7 years, no progress. I am 4th owner July 2010. Last registered in Oregon in 1980. Off the road for 30 years. Car is all there except engine is NOM. This car has factory sidepipes. UPDATE - 11-6-19 - It appears I'm now the 6th Owner. I bought it from a guy in Clackamas, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. The plates given to me with the Vette were Blue Oregon Plates - EAX 495 and a friend of a friend who happens to be an Oregon DMV supervisor said they would have been original issues plates from '65. Shipping Report arrived and this 65 396 Roadster stayed pretty close to home as it was originally sold in May of 1965 by Ron Tonkin Chevrolet in Portland Oregon.
