This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette has its original L79 V8 motor, four-on-the-floor, a
terrific color combo, and plenty of investments over the last decade including A/C.

This car was purchased in 2010 by the consignor. While it was already a nice
numbers-matching car, in the past decade there have been thousands of $$$$$
invested in really getting it looking awesome. The factory-correct Rally Red paint
has the kind of modern clearcoat luster that really makes this car pop when the
sunshine finds it. It also helps that there has been nice attention in making sure
the crisp lines of the Sting Ray are looking great. Plus, the bumpers, rocker
trim, and knock-off style wheels are also looking bright. This comes with the
color-matched hardtop for a coupe-like appearance. But there is something
particularly striking about the combination of the white folding roof and the
whitewall tires.

Of course, a car like this is meant to be open to the world. So the factory-correct
red interior offers an awesome full red package. Just like the exterior, you can
tell the last decade of ownership was about investing in a car that looks great.
So you have supple leather bucket seats, a grippy wood-rimmed steering wheel,
and a bright gearstick in the ideal position for your right hand. While this one
has a great classic look right down to the AM/FM radio there is one upgrade
you're going to love. Cold-blowing modern R134a air conditioning was a big
investment here, and it means you can enjoy top-down motoring long into the
summertime.

Under the hood is the original, numbers matching 327 cubic inch V8. This is the
optional higher-compression L79 motor, and that means it was rate at 350 horsepower
when new. It has a great look today with polished components like the air topper,
distributor shield, and racing flags valve covers. Plus, it has the look of proper
investment everywhere from the alternator to the hoses. The V8 inhales deeply
with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet sound out of the newer
dual exhaust. You're in complete control over this full power package thanks to
the four-speed manual transmission. In fact, control is a central theme to a car
like this. That's why this C2 has a fully independent sports suspension, power
steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. Even those classic whitewalls hide a modern
tire tread.

The car comes with over $15k in receipts documenting the investments over
the last decade. This is a great-looking classic Corvette with the features you want.
