You are bidding on an original 65 Corvette 327 300hp block. This block appears to be in excellent condition. I can find no defects other than the slight score in the number 2 cylinder, see the pic. This block has been in storage for a long time but other than the light rust in the cylinders it is in very nice condition. I picked what i thought was the worst looking bore and hit it with a bead hone. As you can see there is no rust left and this block is standard bore. This block is dated I 14 4 and i have some of the other parts to list including the 2680 crank, hipo ext manifolds and the date matched heads. Note that this block still had the factory steel shim head gaskets and the crank bearings are also GM dated 64. I am willing to have this block pressure checked and shipping is not a problem, but those costs are the buyers responsibilty. The best way to contact me is rlheaps22@frontiernet.net 570 847 3608. Thank you and good luck.
