| Car history: |
Posted 03/14/2016 Lot #1420 - This is equipped with an M21 4-speed, 3:70 posi-traction, AM/FM, F41 special suspension, power brakes, N14 side dual exhaust, Goodwood Green/black interior. It sold new at Berger Chevrolet, the famous Prescribed Power Performance dealership. The first owner was Edward Berger Jr., who then sold the car to Cliff Hoffman with Cliff's Auto Sales. The current owner's family, the Cabots, have owned the car for the last 47 years. This car was shown at Bloomington Gold in 1993, where it was judged and awarded Survivor Certification. It had 39,316 actual miles when the certificate was signed by two of the most renowned experts on Corvettes: Chip Miller and Bill Mock. The car now has 40,982 actual miles on it (mileage not indicated on the title) and has been garage-kept on blocks and covered since 1994. The original gas tank was removed in December 2015 to reveal a nice legible Tank Sticker, which is still glued on the original gas tank and goes with the car. The new tank is installed for driving. This is a true matching-numbers, original, unrestored '67 427/435 Corvette with the same owner for 47 years that has never been offered for sale. This is an incredibly rare opportunity. |
