The National Top Flight Award was achieved in '05 at Park City, UT scoring 97.4 percent. The Chapter 98.6 Top Flight and Regional 96.6 Top Flight Awards were received in 2004. Originally delivered to Citizens Chevrolet in Hollywood, CA. Starting with a rust-free, un-hit, very original example allowed the restorer (an NCRS Master Red Hat Judge) to restore, rather than replace almost every part to retain as much originality as possible. The chassis of the vehicle is equally done to the highest quality of the exterior and interior. Only 700 miles have been driven since the restoration. This stunning Sunfire Yellow with black interior big block is optioned with an L72 427/425hp engine, transistor ignition, M21 close ratio 4-speed, 3.70:1 posi-traction, off-road exhaust, power steering, power windows, cast aluminum knock-off wheels, AM/FM radio and tinted windshield and glass. The current owner found the original Protect-O- Plate in '09 along with complete owner history, pictures of the car from 1972 and a maintenance log kept by owners one, two and three from 1967-1972. Over $130,000 in receipts. A 3 inch binder of previous owner's titles, original Protecto-O-Plate, maintenance log book (1967-1972), original owner's manual, pictures from 1972, NCRS Award Certificates, restoration pictures, receipts and complete owner's history.
