Engine details: Original L-79 engine replaced with new aluminum 427 ZL-1, and the ZL-1 was replaced with an original over the counter 67 L-88 block (factory stamped IT) and the block was built using L-88 components. The car now has an original 67 L-88 engine. Car converted to big block in 2007, has real L-88 hood, real J-56 brakes, new M-22 trans (both with less than 15 miles as of Jan. 1, 2023).
 
Car history:
Original Calif car, delivered to Harry Mann Chevrolet, no hit body, car was frame on restored in 2005, driven less than 700 miles since restoration. Car converted to L-88 / ZL-1 clone in 2008 and driven less than 500 miles since. A real 67 L-88 engine was added in 2020. ALL original parts, engine, trans, dash, etc, still with car. The car also has a rare set of reproduction Bill Thomas L-88 headers and side exhaust and real magnesium American Racing 15x6 Torque Thrust D wheels. Car was originally Marlboro Maroon but was changed to Tuxedo black in 2003 when it received a body ON restoration Original trim tag and VIN tag are on the car. , real 36 gallon tank, no radio, no heater, Bill Thomas L-88 headers.
