Car history:
When he owned it, Bill Skinner, a Bloomington Gold and NCRS judge, performed a frame-off restoration on this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. With that level of detail behind it, the car attended various events and scored a number of wins, including the NCRS Regional Top Flight awards in 2012-2016 and the NCRS National Top Flight award in 2016. It also scored more than 97 percent for the NCRS Duntov award in 2016 and garnered the NCRS Performance Verification Award in 2015.

One of the original 25 Muncie M22 4-speed manual transmission cars for 1965, Accompanied by an NCRS Shipping Data report, notes from Al Grenning further show that this Corvette was delivered new to Dick Lange Chevrolet in Ohio, a dealership well known for ordering special competition cars for SCCA racing through Zora Arkus-Duntov himself.
