Sold in Springfield IL. Eight owners from 1967 to 1974.
1974 to 1976 - had one piece front end, headlights in grill, flared fenders. Rear end broke and replaced original 3.70 with 3.55 from '74. Was NOM with 396 engine, blew up, and replaced with a 1968 396 engine 1975. Original close ratio broke and replaced with wide ratio 1976. Car surfaced on eBay in March 2007 at Schroeder Corvette in St. Charles but never got higher than $98,000 and didn't hit reserve. Claimed all original with original 400 hp engine. Surfaced again in November 2009 in Ohio on eBay and sold somewhere around $68,000. |
