| Car history: |
| I am looking for any additional information. I am trying to find more history and hopefully more documentation on my 1967 Corvette Coupe 427 390 4 speed car. It is Lynndale blue with factory air, PS, PB, side exhaust, headrests and shoulder belts. The car was sold new out of Reeder Chevrolet in Knoxville, TN in November 1966 to H. M. Cox JR. of Macon GA. The car was also owned by Mike Tucci of La Canada CA. Tucci bought the car from Clippinger Chevy which had purchased it from a family whose son died while he owned the car. Clippingers son may have been friends with the boy who died. This would have been around 1988. It is possible Clippinger sold the car to the first family in 1985. Around 1997 or 1998 Tucci sold the car to an executive at Dunkin Donuts in Rhode Island. Sometime after that, the car underwent a completed frame-off high-end restoration. The last four digits of the VIN are 3283. I would very much appreciate any help in finding other owners of the car and particularly the shop or person who restored the car. Please private message me or you can contact me at rfleener@comcast.net and I will email you back. |
