| The car was purchased new at Jay Kline Chevorlet by my father Gordon Harms on March 31, 1966. The cars final build date was March 23rd 1966. This car has undergone a complete frame off resotration. It was driven by my father for 12 years in Minnesota (all year long) and then sat in the garage for 17 years until he retired. A complete and professional frame off restoration was completed in 1996, and my father gave me this car in May of 2001. It is a numbers matching all original car, and during the resotration original parts were used where they could, and attantion was paid to originallity. I enjoy caring for it, driving it and showing it locally here in Minneapolis, except it does not see winter or even rain anymore, but she is not a trailer queen and has seen 8K miles in the past 10 years. |
