Original motor is MIA....It currently has a stamped CE block that is dated 10-10-70,all other engine components dates are correct to car. I have just recently purchased a #'s matching block that would be right for my car,But I may never put it in. |

I have all the Paper Work, I have 3 bill of sales, One of them being the 1st original,tank sticker,protect-o-plate, owner's manual...Even have the original luggage rack instruction sheet,they used at dealer to install rack with. Its a REAL RED CAR!! |

| 1st owner...Car was bought new by Alfred J Scopes in Aurora,Il...For his son Les on 3-6-67 at a local dealer.(I made ph contact with Mr Scopes son Les,in Dec 2000.Les is still living in the Chicago area to this date.) Mr Scopes traded car back to the original dealership in late 1971. From that point I have No History, till 7-30-83, when a gentleman, the 2nd owner bought the car on 7-30-83 in Valparaiso Ind...Then 3rd owner from Naperville Il purchased the little red vette on 7-12-85,from D&M Corvette Specialists in Downers Grove Il....After 8 yrs, D&M bought the car back and then sold it to the 4th owner in Palatine Il on 10-21-93...This gentleman kept the car till 5-29-99 where I was lucky enough to purchase the little vette and bring it to its new home in Tenn. |
