Car history:
Originally sold, I believe, in Kearney, Nebraska by Kizzier Chevrolet. I've owned the car for 30 years and when I bought the car, it needed quite a lot. When I bought it, it had been in the hands of at least two sailors, and was on the west coast in California. One of the sailors I was able to contact told me it rode on the deck of the USS Enterprise when she changed home port from up near Seattle down to San Diego. It was brought back to Ft. Collins, Colorado, by Tom Cunningham who owned a Corvette shop there, and I purchased the car from Tom.

Still all there and unhit, but suffering from several years of needing various items, missing radio, missing overflow tank, radiator changed. And, it had the pot metal dealer id tag like once was put on all cars still attached to the rear quarter. The tag said "Kizzier" and "Kearney". Upon checking with Midway Chevrolet in Kearney, Nebraska, I learned that there was indeed a Kizzier Chevrolet located there at one time, but went out of business around 1985 or 1990 (sometime in that vicinity). I recently spoke with Mr. Kizzier who owned the business, but he didn't remember who he may have sold the car to. He now lives in Phoenix, AZ.

So, anybody from that area, should you have any info, please post it on CorvetteForum.Com in the C-2 section. Thanks for reading!!
