Posted 06/07/2017 Lot #164 - This matching numbers 1964 Corvette convertible is extremely rare as it is equipped with a 327/365hp engine. It is finished in the original factory colors of 912A Silver Blue and 490K blue vinyl interior. On the engine, the last six numbers of the VIN are stamped on the lower side of the block, signifying matching numbers, as well as the transmission casing. Manual 4-speed transmission and a Holley 4 barrel model 4150 carburetor. Included in this car, which only came with the 365hp, is a factory high performance tachometer. Further, this car has just completed a top end rebuild keeping within all factory specs. Included in the rebuild were a competition hydraulic tappet camshaft, hydraulic lifters, complete reconditioning of factory heads and Edelbrock intake manifold complete with the factory Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The excellent re-spray represents the meticulous care taken by the previous owner to ensure the factory car remains in showroom condition.
