This is a rebuilt Muncie M20 wide ratio (2.52 first gear) 4-speed. It came out of a 1966 Corvette. The vin# is 6S122016 (6= 1966, S= St. Louis plant, 122,016 is the production sequence). The muncie code is P0505 (Muncie May 5th). The casting numbers are: case 3885010, tail 3857584, and sidecover 3884685. It has new seals, bearings, gaskets, rear bushing, shift keys, 2 brass rings, 2 sliders, small parts kit, reverse thrust washer, and has been cleaned. The runout on the mainshaft is .001" and on the input shaft it is .002". The engagement teeth are in exc shape on all the original GM gears. It has the original GM parts tag on it also, the number is 3870354. There is very minor pitting on the nose of the input, nothing major. Also a chip at the top bolt on the tail on the passenger side, again nothing that will effect performance.
