V8 that features a custom AZ Speed Super Jet fuel injection setup, this roadster produces an impressive 430 horsepower and 450 pounds of torque. Transitioning that power to the rear wheels is a slick shifting Tremec 5 speed manual gearbox and a freshly rebuilt posi 3.36 rear-end. Both the engine and transmission were installed 3,000 miles ago in 2009 with an odometer reading of 97,236. Improved acceleration and lower cruising rpm make this 1964 Corvette the perfect classic for those of you who enjoy driving your toys.
Everything on this Corvette has been redone or is brand new. The entire suspension has been gone through with new u-joints, bearings, axels, ball joints in front, and polyurethane bushings. A new steering box was installed, along with a smaller leather wrapped steering wheel tilt steering column making for a comfortable driving experience. The entire dash was restored with new gauges and glove box leaving a modern feel to the interior, but yet still retaining that classic original look. Mounted in-between and behind the two front seats is a set of modern day speakers and aftermarket CD player headunit. Do we even have to mention the white soft top is brand new as well. |
