Car history:
This is a two-owner, lifelong California car. The previous woman owner was religious about maintenance records and there is a huge handwritten journal that gives you a complete history of the car back to 1972 when she purchased it. The body is in good shape. The car is a factory 974 code Rally Red with red interior car. This Corvette is a CA blue plate car that has an excellent frame. It is very solid. It did have black plates until the woman ordered personalized plates for it. It is not the original numbers-matching block. The car is a great driver. It runs and drives well. It is strong and fast. Four-speed manual transmission, manual steering, and manual four wheel disc brakes. It does steer quite easily though. New brakes, calipers, radiator hoses and carburetor. I think an older Vette that you can enjoy any time is way cooler and a ton more fun than an NCRS Top Flight car that spends it's entire life in a plastic bubble. Don't get me wrong, those cars are awesome but I think it's way more fun to use them for what they were made for, TO BE DRIVEN! The interior is red and in good condition. The carpet is worn where your feet rest on the driver's side. The door panels are good except for a few minor cracks along the armrest. The third tail light was added by the dealer in 1966 and was a very popular upgrade on the West Coast in those years. The headlights work fine. Good tires mounted on factory Rally wheels. Factory overflow tank.
