| NICB confirmed that '65 VIN 00022 was a convertible delivered to Chevrolet Engineering in Warren, Michigan when new. The second owner of a '64 Corvette coupe said his car had been bought new by a Chevrolet Engineering employee in the Warren facility, and that it had been delivered with the engine from '65 VIN 00022 installed. Evidently the '64 coupe had also been used as a GM test car when new. |
