| Engine details: |
The complete #'s matching correctly dated and cast L-71 427 long-block motor, dated heads, manifolds and complete tri-power is set up and under the hood. Dyno'd at 460 h.p. and 458.5 lbs of torqueFrom air cleaner to exhaust pipes... It is complete blast to drive!!! As of this writing... 6/20/10 she has less than 300 mile on standard bore fresh rebuilt 1966 long block! |
| Other details: |
Right now she has four fender flares and huge polished aluminum Torque Thrust II's. I love the Fender Flares and don't know how quickly I will make her body stock again. How many people can say that they have a fully documented and show ready #'s matching 435 Roadster with FLARES? Not many, as I imagine most people would rip off the flares and go stock on such a pricey car. She has been garaged her whole life. She was used as a show car for the last 20+ years or so. |

| Car history: |
I have a COMPLETE ownership history for this car. This is the BRIEF VERSION: She was ordered on Aug 2, 1966 by a 26 year old Logger. This was his first new car and first corvette!!! He claims to have taken delivery on Dec 23 or 24th but the warranty card said he took delivery on 11/25/66. He claims the car was originally ordered and delivered with the 435 H.P. BB but swears up and down that the car was originally delivered with NO CONTRASTING COLOR STIPE DOWN THE factory hood. He babied the car and raced it on Sundays (amateur) He sold the car on Jan 21st 1970.
Just a few months later the car was traded into a Don Norem Chevrolet and re-sold to the 3rd owner in May of 1970. He raced the car as well. He claims to have raced the car in the Butte Hill Climb across the Continental Divide. He said Evil Knievil was in that race and claims to beating Evil. He even said he saw Evil in 95 and Evil admitted he remebered the race and being beaten by that little blue corvette!!!!!
3rd owner sold the car to a Michael Ryckman on April 16th of 1977. Ryckman had the car unitl he passed away (may he rest in peace and thanks so much for this precious corvette!!!!), and I bought it on its actual 39th birtday of Nov 14th, 2005.
I took the car to a ASE certified mechanic shop to document the dropping of the Gas Tank and the removal of the Factory Build Sheet which I know have in PERFECT SHAPE in an Archival Folder. The car still retains much of its original equipment.
