Car history:
W.M. Ruoff purchased the car from Barford Chevrolet on Nov 17, 1965 according to the PROTECT-O-PLATE and the Trim Plate. I have tried on numerous occasions to locate him in the Midwest without success. I purchased it from Bill James Chevrolet, St Louis, with 6,722 miles and have that Bill of Sale. In Jan 2014, I started a total body-off the frame restoration, trying extremely hard to follow the NCRS Judging Manual, and completed it in May 2015. I documented the entire process with written detail and pictures. Nov 17, 2018. The car was judged at the NCRS Florida Chapter Flight Judging event and received a TOP FLIGHT score of 98.6 with 100 percent OPERATIONS score.
