Car history:
Added to Registry 09/18/2015

1967Corvette rolling chassis----Little Red started life as a great, fun car. Originally
it had a 327C.I., 350H.P. engine with transitor ignition, double hump HI-PO heads,
side pipes, a Holley carb., 4:10 positraction, a Muncie close ratio 4 speed
transmission, 4 wheel 4 piston disc brakes, ralley wheels and was a convertible.
Now is still as was except the side pipes, body, interior, and bumpers with
brackets. The frame has been completely stripped down, sanded, primed, and
repainted. It is a no-hit frame that measures out perfectly. The engine is very
fresh and maintains perfect compression ( from 150 to 158 lbs.) The engine has
NEVER been serial number stamped, the pad is perfectly smooth, not ground,
filled or welded, just factory smooth. The block casting number is 3858174 and on
the other side is E176. From what I can find it is a 1967 car or truck block, where
all trucks and 350H.P. Corvette engines have 4 bolt mains. So this very likely the
orignal engine, it either missed getting stamped or could be a GM replacement. No
matter what it never got any serial numbers. EVERYTHING has been taken apart,
cleaned, inspected, repaired or replaced. I have all the original parts but I added
a MSD HEI distributer, ( the original transistor distributer is good, but has not been
rebuilt). I also put on a TCI fluid harmonic balancer but still have the original. The
chassis has 4 brand new BF Goodrich tires, brand new rims, polished stainless
steel rings and GM logo caps. ALL the brakes have been replaced with stainless
lined calipers, polished stainless steel brake lines and hoses, new pads and rotors,
a brand new starter, deep cycle Optima battery, Center-Force clutch, clutch fan.
also, the chasis will come with all the parts that I will not be using for my rebuild,
which includes the clutch linkage, throttle pedal and linkage, both horns, the
aluminum radiator overflow tank and bracket, the 4 core brass radiator with hoses
and very nice original fan shroud. The antenna, both 4:10 gears with posi, and a
set of 3:73 gears with another posi-traction. I am also including a nice pair of
2008 Z-51 black leather, power seats. This is one very nice chassis with lots of
original parts, a no-stamp motor, a lot of new and a big box of misc. parts.
