Posted 03/18/2016 Lot #358 - This particular Corvette has recently received a 3 year NCRS body-off the frame restoration after being in storage in sunny California for twenty years! It still retains it's rare and origial numbers matching L-68 427 tri-power engine, Muncie M-21 4-speed transmission and 3.55 positraction rear end. The trim tag confirms it's finish is also correct coded 984 (Sunfire Yellow with Black stinger), with standard Black Vinyl interior and soft top. The original seats, dash pads and door panels compliment the care and preservation this very rare tri-power Corvette has received over the years. Documentation records show that the low mileage of this car to be 22,000 original!! The original interior and consistansy of the cars drive train numbers and date codes supports this claim. Besides being optioned with one of the rarest drive train combinations available, it is also conveniently optioned with very rare 4-wheel power disc brakes, tinted glass, AM/FM radio, aluminum bolt on wheels and redline tires. Strong documentation emphasizes this car's rarity; including low original miles, numbers matching date coded drive train and owner history with comments from the date it was sold new at Alan Green Chevrolet in Seattle, Washington in the spring of 1967. Included with this car is the original protect-o-plate, original owners manual with dealer pack, original warranty book, original ignition key and copies of the Window sticker, original M.S.O. and titles of previous owners!!! |
