You will find the factory 427 ci / 425 hp V-8 engine under the hood with the matching 4-speed manual transmission. This ultra desirable example is highly documented and appears to be almost complete original throughout. It absolutely has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated, this is one gorgeous classic. Over $25,000 Invested in Extensive Refreshing Inside/Out The current owner of this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe purchased it back in 2010 as the third lifetime owner and he informs us that he has documentation spanning the vast majority of its life. This Corvettes body was built by AO Smith in Michigan for assembly at the St. Louis plant. The current owner informs us the original drivetrain is still in place, along with most of the factory accessories and trim work as well. It has been a lifetime California Black Plate car with all the codes lining up properly to tell us that it is the genuine article. Additionally, this 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray received a new exhaust system, bushings, and spring arms in 2010. In the interior, you will find the original Teak steering wheel plus the factory optional leather bucket seats, the AM-FM radio and all the correct gauges and other equipment. Everything was refreshed to high levels and it still shows excellent in person today.
