After approximately 30 years, the car was sold and went into storage in Montana from 1994 to 2002. The next 5 years, the car was driven little and pampered a lot. The motor was overhauled, transmission and complete drivetrain were checked, repaired or replaced as required. The Vette's 327/250hp engine with automatic transmission is a strong, yet economical and very popular combination for this classic car.
