Posted 03/19/2016 Lot #1289 - One of the finest examples of a 427/435 HP Corvette in existence. This is a numbers matching car that was disassembled and a body off, no expense spared restoration performed. Supervision of the restoration was by an NCRS Master Judge at one of the most famous Corvette Restoration Shops in New York. All parts used were either original to the car or NOS factory parts. All drivetrain parts were identified as numbers matching, as well as correctly date coded to this vehicle. There is full photo documentation of the entire restoration. Upon completion in September 2004 this vehicle was introduced to the Show and Judging World, where it achieved two NCRS Top Flights, 04 & 05, Bloomington Gold Certified 05, Chevy Vetfest Gold Spinner 05, Triple Crown 05 and a most coveted Best American Performance Car Award at the 2006 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance, a national event held annually in Greenwich, Connecticut. There are numerous first place, as well as Best in Show awards earned at local and state wide car shows and Corvette Club meets. This highly optioned '67 Corvette is finished in its factory correct Trim Tag color of 983 Goodwood Green with factory correct Saddle Vinyl interior, White convertible top, White Stinger and White Wall Tires and a 3:70 Ratio Positraction Rear Axle.
