| 1963 CORVETTE COUPE SPLIT WINDOW. Vintage Autohaus and Imports is proud to present this very original 1963 Corvette Stingray “Split Window” Coupe. The previous Midwest owner of this Stingray had it for 23 years. This vette is a very nice unrestored time piece with a repaint done several years ago and still shows well. The original L-75 engine vin stamped and code correct (#F1221RD) casting number (#3782870) is a 327ci 300 hp with a correct (#3461-S) Carter 4 barrel carburetor, correct 300hp date coded 1965 cylinder heads (#3782461), and correct distributor (#1111024). The engine is rebuilt in the past and runs great. The original transmission is a correct (P0305) M-20 4 speed. The transmission shifts through all the gears. The rear end is a 3.36 positraction with no noise and great pull. The body is straight and original with proper gap alignment. The doors open and close with ease. All original factory bonding strips are intact. The correct code (936) Ermine White paint is in good condition with some minor lacquer checking visible upon close inspection. The bumpers and stainless are in great shape with no dents or scratches. The original correct (898B) Black leather buckets are in great condition and showing normal wear. The dash shows very well and all trim is bright and not pitted only showing normal patina. This is a classic Stingray “Split Window” and an excellent example of a well maintained corvette with a very smooth ride. 22,861 miles from the odometer. $63,500. Motor suffix code is F1221RD.
