| Car history: |
01/06/2016 The 1967 Lynndale Blue with the original 327 and matching original 4 speed transmission and rear-end. As shown in the pictures the engine number, radiator, cooling over-flow tank, transmission and rear-end are original with matching numbers.
She has the original radiator, expansion tank, power steering and tilt steering wheel, all disc brakes with new SS brakes calipers, caliber and rotors and power- brakes for (excellent stopping). The fenders are slightly flared with wider tires on original wheels. She has a new black soft top (About 1 year ago) and she has the matching hard-top (needing liner replacement). This makes the car both a convertible with a soft-top and a solid hard-top. The headlights work well pen and open/close properly. It has Vintage A/C air conditioning unit (the car runs cool while the A/C is on). Mechanically no problems - it runs well. Mechanically no problems - it runs well and these options make this midyear car a very reliable, enjoyable car to drive.
Non original features are: the carburetor was replaced with a Holley 650 Double Pump and the transmission shifter was replaced with a Hurst shifter by a previous owner (A very common practice back in the 1960s and for a better shifting pattern)
For full disclosure: The car is in good driver condition with a 10 foot paint job. Missing features are she is missing the spare tire and no front bumper that was removed (This was done back in the 1960s to give the car a shark look on the front end) and the original rear bumper is original with a little rust needing chroming. The radio is original, but it has static and needs to be rebuilt. The original clock has stopped working (a common problem in corvettes). The carpets are showing some sun fading in color although in good shape.
The car is driven regularly locally on weekends and has approx. 85,000 miles shown on the odometer is original as best verified. |
