It is "tribute" car but according to the owner was actually made in 1964 in a group of 15 but he has no documentation. As you will see in the one pic, it has a trim plate showing it as a Grand Sport II. It is on a stock frame and the vin checks as a 1964 Convertible. He states that the original engine was a small block with the 4 Webbers to match the original but it had been replaced before he bought it. He installed the current Big Block 427. I tried several searches on Grand Sport II but could find no references to any specific company that may have made them. |
