Correct motor and original code UU Rally red. This Corvette is so slick. It's polished and pretty everywhere you look. The combination of an upgraded 3-speed automatic, power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes make it a pleasure to cruise.
EXTERIOR: Very slick, bright red paint. It's even slick to the touch, feels like it has a coat of Teflon! The door jambs are slick with new weather strips and sill plates. I just walked all the way around the car inspecting the body. All the panels- headlights, hood, doors, top lid fit square and flush. Both doors click shut. I did not see a crack or damage anywhere. I found one small nick from the top. The bumpers, emblems, door handles, gas cap, tail lights have all been replaced. The windshield and gasket is new. Rubber around the vent windows are new. Very cool- it has a new factory side exhaust system. Sounds great. The correct hubcaps are in excellent condition, tires look new. Black convertible top looks new and the rubber weather strips have been replaced.
INTERIOR: Now I'm sitting in the car. Seats feel new, has new cushions and upholstery. New carpet front and back, also carpeted mats. Both dash pads are replaced. Glovebox door is new, has owner's manual. Instruments look restored, clock works. Door panels are good, bottoms have been reupholstered. Has upgraded stereo in the factory hole, speakers in custom kick panels. Real nice upgraded leather grip steering wheel, original wheel is also included.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: First impression is wow. Shiny and detailed. The air cleaner lid is show chrome, complete ignition shielding, finned valve covers and alternator are polished. The fan shroud is gloss black. Brake booster and lid on the master cylinder and cadmium plated. The suspension is detailed. Has GM hoses and clamps. Has stock manifolds, intake is a correct aluminum high rise. It even has the spark plug shields. There is an upgraded aluminum radiator to keep it cool. It has a correct 327-350 hp motor. The casting # is correct but the stamp in front was decked when the block was remachined. Has double hump heads.
UNDERSIDE: Exceptionally clean. Nicely detailed chassis and suspension. Front end is rebuilt. Power steering ram and hoses look new. New rear spring and bushings. Many new parts- brake and fuel lines, emergency brake cables, shocks, fuel pump, starter etc. Has disc brakes at all 4 corners. Fiberglass floors look damage free, frame is solid. |
