Car history: |
Posted 06/07/2017 Lot #664 - Imagine if Chevrolet had the technology in 1967 that they have today. Before you is that modern Corvette with all the right parts. This car started with a 1964 Corvette body and applied 1967 fiberglass to make it look like the infamous '67 Corvette big block. Then it was covered in mirror-like Rally Red paint with a black stinger. The body was then set down on a new Street Shop chassis with all modern Corvette suspension and drivetrain. This suspension provides a like new Corvette ride with all modern options including power steering and power 4-wheel disc brakes. This chassis was completed with a 350hp LS2 engine and 5-speed Tremec transmission. The interior is covered in Al Knoch black interior with re-covered powered C5 Z06 seats. Other modern options include air conditioning, power windows, DANA 44 rear end and polyurethane bushings. This Corvette has been professionally built with excellent attention to detail and everything is either new or restored with show quality standards in mind. This is not a trailer queen build, this Corvette was built to drive just like a new Corvette would and can be driven. |
